You bet. We only ship to an agency or department addresses. No residential deliveries whatsoever. For international orders, we regret that we only accept CONUS orders. For bona fide US military orders to an APO address, please e-mail us at esupport@tacwedge.com as we will have to make special arrangements to ship your order through the US Postal Service. International inquiries will be directed to one of our international distributors for proper vetting.

Our football, our rules. We restrict sales of our door-control devices to only accredited professionals because of the potential for misuse by unsavory elements of our society, sometimes referred to by their Latin name of Homo Asshole-us. Okay, we realize that your average criminal has a room temperature IQ yet even he can figure out how to push a refrigerator in front of a door to block an entry. But we're not going to make an easily portable door-jamming device available that works as well as a refrigerator and can be carried in a dirt-bag's back pocket.

The easy way is to grab a pair of bolt-cutters and snip off the Spike Foot extension from the device to relieve the leaf-spring tension that's forcing the device's Steel Spikes into the floor. A sheetrock saw with aggressive teeth works nicely too, although it's a bit awkward to saw that close to the ground. An axe also works, but be careful. Those two black-capped things down there? Those are your feet.

|
Yes. Unless you want to spend half an hour shimmying, wiggling, tugging and prying, just break the Spike Foot off. TacWedge™ is a disposable tactical access control device.

|
Right. There has to be a door casing for the device's hook to dig into and provide an anchor. Otherwise, you're back to the old "550 cord tied to some improvised anchor point" method.

|
The device comes with numerous holes for securing it to a carabiner, but our favorite method is to tie a small loop of 550 cord through one of the holes and then hook the cord into a Grimloc™. Another way is to use a SCUBA air hose clip. The Spike Foot fits exactly into an air hose clip, which can then he clipped to your gear. Most guys just stick a couple of TacWedge's in a pouch. We like Eagle's spent mag pouch with the elastic covered opening— easy to grab one right out.

Pay attention class, Economics 101 is in session. When a manufacturer produces a widget, he incurs production costs, consisting of raw materials, machine time, labor and other expenses. Once made, the widget then goes into a Finished Goods warehouse where it sits until a customer places an order. When an order is placed, a worker has to fill the order by picking however many widgets are ordered, putting them in a box, and shipping the box to the customer. Meanwhile, more costs are incurred. The warehouse rent has to be paid, the warehouse staff doesn't work for free and there were probably some advertising and other marketing costs to prompt the customer to place his widget order in the first place. All of these things add up to make small orders more expensive for the manufacturer.
Compare that scenario to the One Large Order model. Here a customers orders 10,000 widgets. With such a large order, the manufacturer produces an uninterrupted run of 10,000 widgets, puts them directly into a bulk box, ships them via a common freight carrier directly to the customer, and avoids all the time delay and expense of warehousing them, paying the warehouse worker's salary and all the other cost-of-sales expenses. Plus, the manufacturer gets his money back almost instantly on his raw materials and other manufacturing expenses.
Make sense? Now get out a piece of paper and a pencil for a pop quiz.
